Mr. Daniel Morales
District Prevention Coordinator & Counseling Department Leader
Mr. Morales began his prestigious career upon the completion of his Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Arizona and Master's Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University. Prior to coming to the Isaac District, Mr. Morales worked as a Prevention Specialist at Touchstone Behavioral Health Agency, beginning in 2004. During his 9 years at Touchstone, Mr. Morales focused on substance abuse and suicide prevention and provided life-skills classes to elementary, middle and high school students. He also provided parenting classes for diverse communities and developed local school task forces. He also is one of the original founders of the "No Alcohol Sweet Sixteen" program. Eventually, Mr. Morales became a Community Specialist, and finally a Community Coordinator at Touchstone. Mr. Morales has been with the Isaac School District for 3 years. In his current role as the District Prevention Coordinator, he supervises all school counselors, as well as the school nurses and health assistants, and oversees all youth prevention programs. He also works in the evenings at West Phoenix High School where he teaches business and computer applications. He continues his work with Touchstone as a coalition partner representing the education sector and recently received the inaugural Isaac Anti-Drug Community Coalition Leadership Award for his years of outstanding service and leadership in our community. We are proud to call Mr. Morales a part of the counseling team here at Isaac!
