Mr. Corey Kivisto

Mr. Kivisto earned a Bachelor of Social Work & his teacher certification from Northern Michigan University, and earned his Master of Education in School Counseling K-12 from Grand Canyon University. “Mr. K” is entering his 11th year working in the Arizona public schools. He has taught high school social studies & high school physical education. He has also coached varsity boys basketball.  He has worked as a school counselor at both the high school & elementary school levels. This is Mr. K’s second year working in the Isaac Elementary School District. He works at Mitchell Elementary School & Esperanza Elementary School. Mr. K  primarily teaches classroom lessons to grades K-5 & is also available for small group & individual counseling sessions.  Away from school, Mr. K enjoys spending time with his wife and two small children.
